Xbox One is a home video game console released by Microsoft in 2013. Unlike its main competitor — PlayStation 4, the accent in the development was made in multitasking and using a console as a home media player to watch TV, listen to music and play the games. There is three hardware option available to gamers: original console, One S version (with a smaller body, no external power supply, and native HDR/4k support) and One X (pro-gamer-oriented system with updated hardware and 4k rendering in real time). While PS4 is known for exclusive-orientation, Xbox One's games are mostly multi-platform titles. This supports Microsoft's initial idea to prevent selling used games between the players. However, given the competition from the Sony side, the corporation quickly gave up. Among the notable exclusive games, there are Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5: Guardians and Forza Motorsport 5.

Why some games have no rating

RAWG publishes an average score only once a game has collected 6 or more user votes. Below that it returns 0.0 — while still returning the full vote breakdown. So a game nobody has ever rated and a game with five “exceptional” votes arrive looking identical.

Those suppressed scores are recomputed from the breakdown, which recovers 0 of the 1 games here that would otherwise read as unrated. The rest have no votes at all — mostly obscure, regional or unported titles. That is a real absence, not a gap in the fetch: there is nothing to retrieve.

Everything with a vote ranks in one table, because the order is weighted rather than a raw mean: a score is shrunk toward the all-years mean of 3.79 (too few ranked games here to take a local one) in proportion to how thin its evidence is, so a two-vote 5.0 settles near the middle instead of on top. Metacritic joins at half that weight where it exists — 1 of these games have one.

Ranked 1 game with at least one vote

Ordered by a weighted score, not the raw mean: each game's own average is shrunk toward the all-years mean of 3.79 in proportion to how few votes it rests on, and Metacritic is folded in at half that weight where it exists. A 6-vote 4.67 therefore ranks below a 2,100-vote 4.45 — the raw figure is shown under each score, and sorting by raw score ignores the weighting entirely.

Bars show how the votes split — Exceptional, Recommended, Meh, Skip. A ~ on the raw figure marks a score recomputed from a breakdown RAWG suppresses.
